HOME Real Estate recently announced plans for a new signature building in the Midtown area of Lincoln, at 52nd and O Streets.
The move is an extension of HOME Real Estate’s longtime support of growth and revitalization in Lincoln. The Gateway Gardens project currently includes Cheddars restaurant and a new organic grocery store, Fresh Thyme, which is now being built. The HOME Real Estate office will be built between these two businesses.
This move by HOME will align the brand with nationwide best practices for large real estate brokerages by creating a spacious, high end “hub”, centralizing services for clients and agents while maintaining smaller satellite offices in convenient locations around Lincoln. Such a move creates more synergy between the company’s 200 agents, staff and managers behind one storefront.
“We’ve studied real estate markets across the country, consulted with our agents and believe in the benefits of bringing large groups of agents together in this way,” said General Manager Shannon Harner. “It’s our opportunity to take real estate in Lincoln to the next level, while being an important part of the revitalization of the midtown area.”
The office will be high-tech and high-touch, complete with areas for every type of work style; shared spaces, private offices, fiber and top-of-the-line technology encompassed in about 20,000 square feet. It is being designed to accommodate both agents who work more in the office and very mobile agents.
HOME Real Estate will maintain three satellite locations around Lincoln to accommodate agents and clients in the surrounding neighborhoods. The new office is planned to open in early summer 2016.
