The new signature building in Lincoln’s Midtown area will be a two-story, 20,000-square-foot office, designed to accommodate HOME’s clients and agents—both those who work more in the office and those who are more mobile. The move is an extension of HOME Real Estate’s longtime support of growth and revitalization in Lincoln.
“We are so pleased to be a part of the revitalization of the midtown area in what will be a signature building for our HOME Real Estate brand,” said General Manager Shannon Harner. “We anticipate this new space will foster synergy and allow us to provide our clients with an unparalleled real estate experience.”
Realty Trust Group is working with NGC to redevelop the corner of 52nd and O Streets, which housed the Villager Hotel until its deconstruction in 2009. Mike Marsh of Realty Trust Group said the development is “a testament to Mayor Beutler’s growth initiative for Lincoln to have the very best.”
“We are extremely pleased to have HOME Real Estate as part of the best development Realty Trust Group has developed in its 50-year history,” he said. “The aesthetics of the development are unparalleled, and the synergy HOME brings with Fresh Thyme organic grocery, Cheddar’s restaurant, Scooter’s coffee and US Cellular exceeds our expectations.”
“It has been a pleasure to be a part of the transformation of this job site,” reported a statement from NGC. “This project has been one of the most exciting redevelopment partnerships we have been involved with. The HOME Real Estate office will be a showcase building for NGC, and we are honored to be part of the continued growth and success of both Realty Trust and HOME Real Estate.”
HOME Real Estate will maintain three smaller, unstaffed satellite locations around Lincoln to accommodate agents and clients in the surrounding neighborhoods. The new office is planned to open in early summer 2016.
